New Orleans Saints are signing wide receiver Chris Olave to a four-year extension worth up to $132 million, including $90 million guaranteed. Free agent Samuel is signing back with the 49ers on a 1-year deal that could be worth up to $7 million. Browns safety Delpit is signing a three-year, $48 million extension that also includes $35 million guaranteed. Browns cornerback Ward reached agreement on a two-year, $62.2 million deal that includes $52.3 million guaranteed, making him the NFL's top-paid defensive back again.

Injury Updates and Player Status

Packers star end Tucker Kraft was activated off the physically unable to perform list Friday, less than nine months after surgery to repair the torn ACL in his right knee. Seahawks WR Horton said Friday that he sustained a crack in his tibia last season. Bengals defensive Shemar Stewart was carted off the field Wednesday with a left leg injury suffered during the first day of training camp. Stewart suffered a hyperextended knee and will have treatment. Panthers rookie receiver Chris Brazzell II will undergo season-ending surgery on his torn LCL in his left knee. Brazzell II a moderate lateral collateral ligament tear and is expected to be sidelined for up to eight weeks. 49ers WR Pearsall did not participate in practice Wednesday because of swelling in the PCL in his right knee. The Niners have some "concern" about the latest flare-up and are "exploring" options. Eagles OLB Greenard will be placed on PUP after suffering a pec strain while lifting before camp. It is not expected to be a long-term issue for Greenard. Steelers' Broderick took the field for his fourth training camp, eight months after sustaining a season-ending neck injury he initially feared might end his playing career. Ravens' Pro defensive tackle Nnamdi Madubuike practiced for the first time in 10 months on Wednesday, providing a celebratory start to the Ravens' first training camp under coach Jesse Minter. Saints defensive Bryan Bresee is feared to have suffered a season-ending torn ACL injury.

Quarterback Situations and Team Outlooks

Quarterback Tua is sidelined with what the team considers a "flare-up" of an undisclosed injury. Tagovailoa said believes the Falcons are keeping him out for precautionary reasons and if it were a game week, he would likely be ready to go. Falcons quarterback room banged-up, there is cause for concern about Drake London's fantasy stock. Fernando Mendoza he is fine with being patient and playing behind Kirk Cousins, who was named the Raiders' starting QB to begin training camp. With a number of veteran leaders no longer with the Commanders, quarterback Jayden Daniels says this is now "my team for sure" as he begins his third NFL season. Texans GM Caserio says the team has had "productive conversations" with quarterback C.J. Stroud on a contract extension dating back to the spring.

Rams coach McVay said Friday he doesn't expect defensive tackle Aaron Donald to decide about coming out of retirement until after the team returns to its facility Aug. 8, but noted that "things are trending in the right direction." Rams defensive Myles Garrett expressed excitement over the possibility of Aaron Donald coming out of retirement to play this season, saying he thinks the duo "can do great things." Quarterback Dak said he isn't going to shy away from discussing what he thinks the Cowboys can accomplish this season. "Let's be the greatest offense there is," Prescott said. Ravens running Derrick Henry said Thursday he isn't contemplating calling it quits as he enters his 11th NFL season. Tennessee's pass worked together this offseason after ranking last in passing plays of 40 yards or more.
