Carolina Panthers rookie wide receiver Chris Brazzell II will miss the entire season after tearing his LCL in his left knee, requiring surgery. This marks the second season-ending injury for the Panthers in training camp, following linebacker Nic Scourton's torn ACL.

Brazzell's injury occurred during a noncontact drill. The third-round pick from Tennessee was a contender for the WR3 position and was envisioned as a deep threat alongside Tetairoa McMillan, Jalen Coker, and Xavier Legette. Brazzell showcased his speed with a 4.37-second 40-yard dash at the combine and had a productive college season with 1,017 yards and nine touchdowns.

The Panthers are facing additional challenges with starting offensive tackles Taylor Moton and Ickey Ekwonu also expected to miss the start of the regular season due to their own injuries.
