Ahman Green, the Green Bay Packers' career rushing leader, has revealed his diagnosis with early-onset Parkinson's disease. The 49-year-old shared the news on the podcast "Go Long with Tyler Dunne," stating he received the diagnosis in January 2025 after experiencing symptoms like foot twitching during sleep.

Green described his short-term memory as "trash," requiring him to actively remind himself of things and people. He holds multiple Packers rushing records, including career yards (8,322) and single-season yards (1,883), and broke Jim Taylor's record during his second tenure with the team.

He is at least the second former Packers player from his era to disclose a Parkinson's diagnosis, following quarterback Brett Favre in 2024. Green emphasized the importance of discussing Parkinson's openly among former players.

Despite the diagnosis, Green stated he is "in control" and focused on managing his health through diet and medical treatment, calling food "my medicine." Doctors have indicated that aside from specific neurological signs, his overall physical condition appears good.
