Myles Garrett expressed enthusiasm about the prospect of Aaron Donald returning to play with the Rams. Myles Garrett said he wouldn’t push Donald into the game, but if the veteran defensive tackle comes back, “I think we can do great things.”

Donald retired in March 2024 after 10 NFL seasons and is undergoing a “very strict, regimented process” to decide whether to rejoin the league, according to Rams coach Sean McVay. McVay first discussed the possibility after the Rams’ June trade for Garrett, noting he reached out to Donald for his opinion.

Garrett highlighted that the toughest part of a comeback would be getting back to tempo. He also praised Donald’s experience, saying he could learn from each other’s techniques and “pick his brain” on attacking matchups.

The conversation underscores a potential dynamic that could reshape the Rams’ defensive line, blending Garrett’s power with Donald’s veteran savvy.
