Crystal Palace are poised to sign 21-year-old midfielder Anan Khalaili from Union Saint-Gilloise. The Eagles have also agreed a straight swap deal with Everton that will send Dwight McNeil to Selhurst Park while Wales international Brennan Johnson moves to Goodison Park. Palace are also ready to offload Johnson after an underwhelming spell – the winger cost £35m but scored zero goals – and have completed the signing of Japan defender Takehiro Tomiyasu following a pre-season trial. Everton and Palace have already agreed the McNeil-Johnson swap, a source told ESPN.
Rangers chairman Andrew Cavanagh expects three to five more signings before the window closes. The Ibrox club have rejected an offer for striker Youssef Chermiti, with manager Derek McInnes confirming it did not meet their valuation. Rangers are reportedly set to sell midfielder Mohamed Diomande to Corum for £4.5m, while PSV have rejected an improved Rangers offer for winger Couhaib Driouech. Aston Villa are interested in a loan move for Endrick, while Harry Kane is expected to extend his Bayern Munich deal, per Monday's gossip. Barcelona have increased their Rodri bid, while Manchester City value the midfielder at more than €70m amid interest from Barcelona and Real Madrid. Iraola said his side cannot sustain the level they want. The manager had earlier noted that Liverpool don't have energy for 90 minutes. Victor Munoz is a symbol of change for Iraola's new Liverpool, according to Sky Sports.
