Everton and Crystal Palace have agreed a straight swap deal involving Dwight McNeil and Brennan Johnson, a source told ESPN. McNeil, 26, will join Palace while Johnson moves to Everton, with both wingers scheduled for medicals on Monday. McNeil made 114 appearances for Everton and nearly joined Palace on loan in February.

His partner, Megan Sharpley, previously criticized Palace's handling of that deal on social media, highlighting concerns about player mental health. Johnson, a Wales international, joined Palace from Tottenham in January but failed to score in 26 appearances. Everton finished 13th in the Premier League last season, while Palace finished 15th but secured a Europa League spot after winning the Conference League.

The two clubs face each other on the opening weekend of the new Premier League season.
