Rangers 1-2 Hibernian: McInnes Winless After Late Wright Winner

Derek McInnes remains winless as Rangers manager after Hibernian snatched a 2-1 injury-time victory at Ibrox. Josh Campbell's 12th-minute penalty, awarded by VAR for Vanja Dragojevic's foul on Jason Kerr, gave Hibs the lead.

Despite 25 shots, Rangers only equalized in the 85th minute when Djeidi Gassama's cross was turned in by Miguel Chaiwa. But Callum Wright's deflected strike in the 90+3rd minute secured the win for the visitors.

It capped a miserable debut for McInnes at Ibrox, compounded by star striker Youssef Chermiti being stretchered off. The forward was subject to a failed Galatasaray bid worth a reported club-record £22m.

With Celtic and St Mirren on six points from two Premiership games, Rangers trail by five points. McInnes acknowledged fan frustration but insisted his side "are not as bad as people think" after three matches without a win.
