Manchester City are set to move for Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernández to replace Rodri, who is closing on a deal with Barcelona. New City boss Enzo Maresca is keen on a reunion with Fernandez, whom he coached at Stamford Bridge, but a fee of over £100 million will be required to land the Argentina international.

Rodri has chosen Barcelona over Real Madrid, entering the final year under contract at the Etihad Stadium. The 2024 Ballon d'Or winner will join Barca ahead of Real Madrid, who had been in talks with the player's representatives since last month.

Meanwhile, Arsenal and Manchester United scouts have been closely watching Shakhtar Donetsk forward Kaua Elias. The 20-year-old prospect scored a hat trick in a 5-3 win and could be available for around €35 million as Arsenal look to replace Gabriel Jesus.
