The summer transfer window for major European leagues including the Premier League, EFL, Scottish Premiership, and Women's Super League reopened on 15 June 2026. The window closes at 2300 BST on Tuesday, 2 September. Clubs across England, Germany, France, Spain, and Italy are actively pursuing signings before the deadline.

On 1 August, several EFL moves were confirmed. Kamarl Grant joined Millwall from Bromley on loan, while Blackburn secured Osman Kamara and Nick Michalski from Crawley, both on loan deals. Hull City also completed a loan move for Nathan Tinsdale from Crawley.

Additionally, Sam Szmodics moved from Ipswich to Derby County on loan with an obligation to buy. The transfer activity reflects clubs' strategies to strengthen squads ahead of the new season.
