Middlesbrough have signed Manchester United goalkeeper Radek Vitek for an undisclosed fee. The 22-year-old Czech spent last season on loan in the Championship with Bristol City, where he made 41 league appearances.

Vitek is the seventh player to join Boro this summer. He expressed his excitement about the club's direction, stating, "The project here is very impressive, because you can clearly see the ambition and where the club wants to go."

His mission is clear: to help the club reach the Premier League. Vitek could make his debut for the Teessiders in their Championship opener at home to promoted Lincoln City next Saturday. Middlesbrough have not disclosed the length of his contract.
