Coventry City have re-signed midfielder Gustavo Hamer from Sheffield United on a "long-term" contract for an undisclosed fee. The Sky Blues are also interested in taking Mykhailo Mudryk on loan from Chelsea, who have given the winger the go-ahead to rebuild his fitness away from Stamford Bridge. Sheffield United have re-signed Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips on a season-long loan. Wrexham have signed Sunderland goalkeeper Anthony Patterson in a deal that could break the club's transfer record. Nottingham Forest have signed defender Ousmane Diomande from Sporting for £34m. Everton have signed winger Brennan Johnson from Crystal Palace in a swap deal that sends Dwight McNeil to Selhurst Park. Crystal Palace are in talks to re-sign Evann Guessand on a season-long loan from Aston Villa.
