Gustavo Hamer has rejoined Coventry City from Sheffield United on a long-term deal for an undisclosed fee. Paul Pogba is expected to have his Monaco contract terminated amid ongoing talks. Chelsea and Manchester United have both turned down the opportunity to sign Arsenal’s Myles Lewis-Skelly, though Chelsea have separately made a new enquiry about the young midfielder.

Chelsea have given Mykhailo Mudryk the go-ahead for a loan move, with Coventry City among the interested parties. Meanwhile, Kalvin Phillips has rejoined Sheffield United on a season-long loan from Manchester City. Nottingham Forest have completed the £34m signing of Ousmane Diomande from Sporting. In a swap deal, Everton have signed Brennan Johnson from Crystal Palace with Dwight McNeil moving the other way.
