Hassan was born in France and represented Les Bleus at youth level before switching to Egypt. He started his club career at Chateauroux, then moved to Villarreal in 2020, featuring for their B team and on loan to Mirandes before his first taste of La Liga. Another loan to Sporting Gijon followed, then a move to Oviedo in 2024, where he helped win promotion but struggled in the top flight last season.
