Dutchwoman Dewi Weber was ineligible for Team Europe at the Solheim Cup 2026 despite a career-best season. The event will be hosted at Bernardus Golf near Den Bosch from September 11-13, live on Sky Sports, with Anna Nordqvist captaining Europe's bid to regain the trophy.

Weber's tied-third finish at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship lifted her to world No 82, putting her in contention. However, she learned via text from Nordqvist that she was not a Ladies European Tour member, a requirement for eligibility. Weber needed to win one of three remaining qualifiers to earn LET membership but missed the cut at Evian and finished tied-44th at the Scottish Open and AIG Women's Open.

Three players ranked below Weber — Julia Lopez Ramirez, Nastasia Nadaud, and Mimi Rhodes — received captain's picks instead. Weber aimed to become only the third Dutch player in Solheim Cup history after Christel Boeljon (2011) and Anne van Dam (2019). She remains open to any involvement in the home event, calling it "super cool for the Netherlands."
