He emphasized his commitment to working hard to justify the contract. Guerrero, a six-time All-Star, has faced a challenging season with career-low statistics due to injuries, including a back issue and hamstring tightness. His contract is the third largest in MLB history, behind deals for Juan Soto and Shohei Ohtani.
