Danish pension fund Industriens Pension, with €37bn in assets, continues its approach to infrastructure investing, co-investments, and secondaries despite current geopolitical turbulence, according to head of infrastructure Mikkel Kjaersgaard. Aware Super is in discussions to merge with Prime Super, a move that would add Prime Super's approximately A$8bn in assets under management to Aware Super's substantial capital pool. The combined entity would manage well over A$250bn. Questions remain regarding the perception of certain infrastructure assets, such as transport packaging, with market participants considering whether limited partners will accept these investments as part of a diversified portfolio.
