Affinia, a RedBird Capital Partners portfolio company, has acquired Wilson Partners, a Fordhouse-backed financial advisory and accounting firm serving SMEs, private individuals and private equity investors across the UK. The deal broadens Affinia's specialist advisory capabilities, particularly for international ultra-high-net-worth clients.

The combined business now spans 33 offices with about 1,600 colleagues, serves more than 25,000 clients and generates annual revenue above £160 million ($215 million; €186 million). The enlarged group strengthens Affinia's position as one of the UK's Top 20 accounting firms, with continued focus on owner-managed businesses, entrepreneurs and mid-market organizations.

With continued backing from RedBird, the group plans further investment in its team, client services, shared technology platforms and expanded tax and business advisory offerings. The group will also continue using RedBird X, RedBird's proprietary artificial intelligence platform, to support responsible AI rollout across operations and client service.

"Wilson Partners is a strong addition to the platform and further validates our conviction in the opportunity to build a genuinely differentiated advisory firm headquartered in the UK and able to deliver solutions for its clients globally," said Mike Zabik, partner at RedBird Capital Partners. Affinia and RedBird were advised by Continuum, KPMG, K&E and DWF; Wilson Partners and Fordhouse by Ardea Partners, Cooley, Moorcroft and EY.
