Thoma Bravo Sells Command Alkon Stake to Francisco Partners

Thoma Bravo has agreed to sell a majority stake in Command Alkon, a software and platform technology provider for the heavy building materials industry, to Francisco Partners.

Command Alkon's technology is utilized by over 14,000 plants across more than 80 countries. The transaction, which is subject to customary regulatory approvals, is anticipated to conclude in the second half of 2026.

Petri Oksanen and Quentin Lathuille of Francisco Partners highlighted Command Alkon's critical role in essential industries and the potential for AI to enhance its customer value, especially with accelerating infrastructure investment. AJ Rohde of Thoma Bravo credited their software operating model and Heidelberg Materials' industry expertise for Command Alkon's modernization and industry transformation. Thoma Bravo initially acquired Command Alkon in 2020 from Quilvest Capital Partners. Heidelberg Materials will maintain its significant minority stake in Command Alkon.
