Broad Sky Partners portfolio company Commonwealth Electrical Technologies has launched CET Energy Solutions as the parent company for its electrical and energy services businesses. The platform consolidates Commonwealth Electrical Technologies, Horton Electric and Nu Wave Energy under one umbrella.
CET Energy Solutions brings together more than 300 employees across six locations in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and West Coast, delivering projects nationwide. Its services include electrical construction, energy efficiency, mechanical systems, renewables, battery storage, backup power, and operations and maintenance.
The company was founded in Massachusetts in 2008 as Commonwealth Electrical Technologies. It acquired Nu Wave Energy in 2025, adding energy services capabilities and operations in Massachusetts, California and Colorado; Nu Wave is now moving to the CET Energy Solutions name. Connecticut-based electrical contractor Horton Electric, acquired in September 2026, will keep its brand, as will Commonwealth Electrical Technologies.
