Convey, an omnichannel communications and engagement operating system for utilities and regulated industries, has acquired Selectron, a provider of citizen engagement, field operations, inspection management, and payment solutions for utilities, state and local governments.

Convey, a portfolio company of Energy Impact Partners and Ocean Sound Partners, integrates Selectron's offerings to create a comprehensive suite of services. The combined portfolio enables organizations to deliver intelligent, multi-channel customer and citizen communications, offer electronic bill presentment and payment processing, and manage inspections and field operations through mobile applications.

The acquisition aims to expand existing customer relationships. Convey customers will gain access to integrated payment and field operations technology, while Selectron customers will benefit from Convey’s omnichannel communications and AI journey orchestration. This strategic move combines complementary strengths to enhance service offerings for both utilities and government entities.
