Graphite Capital’s Mike Tilbury suggests that the rise of AI-generated content could lead to a significant re-rating for businesses producing ‘rights-clean’ data. As the public web becomes increasingly saturated with low-effort AI output, unique data generated within real workflows is becoming a critical, defensible input for AI models. Tilbury notes that the market currently undervalues these companies, which could change as their data becomes essential for training AI without copyright or privacy concerns.

In separate deal news, Mutares has completed its largest acquisition to date: a $450 million EV purchase of Sabic’s engineering thermoplastics business across the Americas and Europe. This acquisition establishes a new strategic division, Nex Point Materials, and marks a significant step in the firm's expansion. Mutares CIO Johannes Laumann has also indicated plans to further the firm's US presence by opening an office in Houston.
