Free Agency Frenzy

Former Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is heading to Atlanta on a one-year deal with the Falcons. The Commanders landed edge rusher Odafe Oweh on a four-year, $100 million contract. The Packers are releasing offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins to free up $19.5 million in cap space.

Wide receiver Darnell Mooney is leaving Atlanta after the Falcons released him to save $7.4 million. The Cowboys added safety Jalen Thompson on a three-year, $33 million deal. The Browns bolstered their offensive line by signing guard Zion Johnson to a three-year, $49.5 million contract.

Former Lions cornerback Amik Robertson is joining Washington on a two-year, $16 million deal. The Seahawks are re-signing cornerback Josh Jobe to a three-year, $24 million contract. The Bengals are adding former Seahawks linebacker Boye Mafe and former Chiefs safety Bryan Cook.

Veteran Moves & Returns

Backup quarterback Marcus Mariota is returning to Washington on a one-year, $7 million deal. The Cardinals signed running back Tyler Allgeier to a two-year, $12.5 million contract. The Steelers agreed to a three-year, $36.75 million deal with former Buccaneers cornerback Jamel Dean.

Free agent center Tyler Linderbaum reached a record deal with the Raiders. The Saints spent $113 million on running back Travis Etienne Jr. and guard David Edwards. The 49ers landed star wide receiver Mike Evans on a three-year deal after he left Tampa Bay.

Wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson is joining the Titans, reuniting with former Giants offensive coordinator Brian Daboll. The Giants reached an agreement with former Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely on a three-year deal. The Lions signed former Panthers center Cade Mays.

Contract Extensions & Franchise Tags

The Falcons reached a one-year, $3.25 million deal with tight end Austin Hooper. The Bears signed former Seahawks defensive back Coby Bryant to a three-year, $40 million contract. The Ravens and guard John Simpson agreed to a three-year, $30 million deal.

The Jets overhauled their defense by adding linebacker Demario Davis and edge rushers Joseph Ossai and Kingsley Enagbare. The Buccaneers signed former Steelers running back Kenneth Gainwell and former Lions linebacker Alex Anzalone to two-year deals.

Washington Commanders avoided contract issues by re-signing left tackle Laremy Tunsil to a two-year extension with $60.2 million guaranteed. The Rams added former Chiefs cornerback Jaylen Watson on a three-year deal. Linebacker Jaelan Phillips is signing with the Panthers.

Trades & Blockbuster Moves

The Colts re-signed wide receiver Alec Pierce but traded Michael Pittman Jr. to the Steelers. The Patriots agreed to a three-year, $39.5 million contract with free agent pass rusher Dre'Mont Jones. Tight end Cade Otton is returning to the Buccaneers on a three-year deal.

Cornerback Eric Stokes is heading back to the Raiders on a three-year, $30 million contract. Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III has agreed to sign with the Chiefs. Tight end Travis Kelce informed Kansas City he's returning for a 14th season.

League & Off-Field Developments

The NFL's negotiations with the NFL Referees Association on a new collective bargaining agreement are not in a good place, sources said. The Dolphins are sending Minkah Fitzpatrick to the Jets in exchange for a 2026 seventh-round pick from the Chargers.

The Packers are finalizing a deal to send defensive lineman Rashan Gary to the Cowboys for a 2027 draft pick. CB Montaric "Buster" Brown will remain with the Jaguars on a three-year, $33 million deal. The Bengals are not tendering restricted free agent quarterback Jake Browning.

The Steelers are re-signing cornerback Asante Samuel Jr. to a one-year, $4 million deal. Guard Ed Ingram and defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins will stay with the Texans on multiyear deals. Linebacker Eric Wilson is staying with the Vikings on a three-year, $22.5 million contract.

The Raiders are acquiring Bills cornerback Taron Johnson and a seventh-round pick for a sixth-round selection. Fullback Alec Ingold is joining the Chargers, reuniting with offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel. The Rams and All-Pro cornerback Trent McDuffie reached agreement on a record four-year, $124 million extension.
