Cornerback Eric Stokes is returning to the Las Vegas Raiders on a three-year, $30 million contract with $20 million guaranteed, sources told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. The 27-year-old was one of the few bright spots on an inconsistent Raiders defense last season, starting 16 games and recording 53 tackles with five pass breakups.

Despite facing frequent avoidance from opposing quarterbacks who targeted other cornerbacks, Stokes allowed 338 receiving yards and two touchdowns on 55 targets. Quarterbacks completed 54.5% of passes against him with an 85.3 passer rating. His return comes after a one-year stint in Las Vegas following a four-year run with the Green Bay Packers marred by injuries that caused him to miss 23 games.

A first-round pick in 2021, Stokes showed promise as a rookie with 55 tackles and 14 pass breakups. However, injuries limited him to just 12 games over the next two seasons. He played all 17 games for the Packers in 2024 but made only seven starts. In five NFL seasons, Stokes has accumulated 181 tackles, 19 pass breakups, and one interception.
