The Green Bay Packers have agreed to a two-year, $10 million contract with cornerback Benjamin St-Juste, a source told ESPN. The 28-year-old brings much-needed depth to a position where the Packers are looking to add competition this offseason. St-Juste becomes the first outside free agent signed by Green Bay since the negotiating period opened.

St-Juste spent last season with the Los Angeles Chargers on a one-year, $2.5 million deal, appearing in 16 games with two starts. While he played only 35% of defensive snaps, he was a core special teams contributor, appearing on 67% of special teams plays. The 6-foot-3, 200-pound cornerback has started 47 of 70 career games, including 45 with the Washington Commanders.

This move comes as the Packers face decisions about Nate Hobbs, who is owed a $6.25 million roster bonus if he remains on the team later this month. General manager Brian Gutekunst has emphasized adding depth at cornerback, where starters Keisean Nixon and Carrington Valentine return. St-Juste's experience and versatility should strengthen the Packers' secondary as they prepare for the upcoming season.
