Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III has agreed to sign with the Kansas City Chiefs, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The 25-year-old running back capped an MVP season with Seattle by winning Super Bowl MVP honors, becoming the first running back to earn that distinction since Terrell Davis 28 years ago.

Walker's journey to this point included overcoming durability concerns after missing games in 2022 and 2024 due to oblique, calf and ankle injuries. He transformed his approach last offseason by changing his eating and sleeping habits, which paid dividends in 2025. The Michigan State product totaled 1,309 scrimmage yards and averaged 4.6 yards per carry during the regular season, both career highs.

His playoff performance sealed the deal, as Walker scored four touchdowns in three games while totaling 417 scrimmage yards. He took over as Seattle's clear RB1 after teammate Zach Charbonnet tore his ACL in the divisional round. Walker played all 20 games, never missed practice once the season began, and appeared on the injury report only three times in 21 weeks. His 34 career carries of 20-plus yards rank fourth among running backs since 2022.
