The New England Patriots have signed free agent pass rusher Dre'Mont Jones to a three-year, $39.5 million contract, according to NFL Network. Jones, 29, will receive $14.5 million in the first year of the deal. The signing marks a significant addition to New England's defensive front after Jones spent last season with the Baltimore Ravens.

Jones joined the Ravens in a midseason trade from the Tennessee Titans, where he was acquired for a fifth-round pick. Though limited to 2.5 sacks in nine games with Baltimore, his 15 quarterback hits led the team during that span. His seven combined sacks for Tennessee and Baltimore last season marked a career high, demonstrating his ability to pressure quarterbacks consistently.

A third-round pick by the Denver Broncos in 2019, Jones has proven versatile as a pass rusher, lining up on the edge and moving inside to 3-technique. His 11.4% pressure rate topped Baltimore last season, fitting the Ravens' aggressive defensive style. With 37.5 career sacks and 87 quarterback hits across seven seasons with Denver, Seattle, Tennessee, and Baltimore, Jones brings proven experience to New England's defense.
