Contract Extensions

The Patriots have locked up tight end Hunter Henry on a two-year extension worth up to $20 million, with $14.5 million guaranteed. Tennessee made Peter Skoronski the highest-paid guard in the league with a four-year, $100 million extension. Buffalo secured right guard O'Cyrus Torrence on a four-year, $78.4 million deal that includes $46 million guaranteed. Indianapolis and star running back Jonathan Taylor agreed to a two-year, $44 million extension.

Injury Report

Chicago believes rookie wide receiver Luther Burden III will be ready for Week 1 despite missing the preseason with a groin issue. Burden suffered the groin injury in Saturday’s practice. He left practice early after colliding with Tyrique Stevenson. Washington left tackle Laremy Tunsil will undergo surgery to repair a torn triceps and is expected to miss significant time. The torn triceps occurred in practice and will likely cost him a large portion of the season. New Orleans guard Dillon Radunz is out for the year with a torn ACL. Baltimore wideout Zay Flowers is day-to-day after a left quad contusion. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes tested his rehabbed knee in camp and said it feels "great."

The 2026 Pro Football Hall of Fame class was enshrined Saturday, with Brees, Fitzgerald and Kuechly among those inducted.
