New Orleans Saints wide receiver Brock Rechsteiner has been suspended by the NFL Commissioner for the first six games of the regular season. The suspension will commence after the final roster cuts on August 30th, meaning Rechsteiner will be eligible to participate in training camp and preseason contests.

Rechsteiner, 23, joined the Saints as an undrafted rookie following rookie minicamp in May. He has been vying for a place on the team's 53-man roster. His father is WWE Hall of Fame wrestler Scott Steiner.

The transaction wire confirmed the disciplinary action, which will sideline the young receiver for a significant portion of his potential debut season.
