Running Back Market Reshaped

The Colts and star running back Jonathan Taylor agreed to terms on a two-year, $44 million extension that keeps him in Indianapolis through 2028. The Colts believe they can recapture their 2025 magic with Taylor locked in as the centerpiece of their offense.

The Falcons extended Bijan Robinson as part of a broader offensive core investment that includes Drake London, Kyle Pitts and Matthew Bergeron. When word got out about Robinson's new deal, Matthew McConaughey was first to congratulate the running back within minutes.

The Lions named Richard Haddad as president and CEO after 14 years with the NBA's Pistons. The Dolphins named Daniel Sillman to oversee football operations, while Tom Garfinkel stepped down as team president and CEO after 13 years. Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy has been checking in more frequently with the team during training camp, but his return to the coaching staff remains unclear.

Saints rookie wide receiver Brock Rechsteiner was suspended for the first six games of the regular season.
