In a TikTok livestream, Jeudy flashed four fingers, which many interpreted as a nod to quarterback Deshaun Watson, who wears No. 4. However, Jeudy explained that the video was edited and that his gesture was actually in reference to his daughter's age.

Jeudy stated that before the edit, he had shown his daughter, prompting a viewer to ask her age. "I threw out the four because she's 4 years old," Jeudy told reporters. He emphasized that he has since spoken with both Watson and Shedeur Sanders, who are alternating first-team reps, to clear up any misunderstanding.

"I don't know what they're thinking in their mind, so I had to just go up there and ... clear it up to them and know what really happened and not what the media portrayed it to be," Jeudy said. He also expressed frustration with how every small event is being scrutinized due to the quarterback competition, noting his seven years in the league have often involved similar situations.
