Daniel Sillman has been named the new CEO of Ross Sports & Entertainment, overseeing the Miami Dolphins' football operations. He succeeds Tom Garfinkel, who steps down after 13 years. Sillman, 37, also co-founded Relevant Sports and has been instrumental in negotiating significant media rights deals, including a $1.4 billion La Liga-ESPN agreement and a $1.5 billion UEFA-Paramount deal.

Team owner Stephen Ross expressed confidence in Sillman, citing his "deep familiarity with the organization's businesses" and "experience building globally recognized sports and media companies." Sillman's new role will see coach Jeff Hafley, general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan, and VP of football operations Brandon Shore reporting directly to him. Sillman also led the recent search for the team's head coach and general manager.

Garfinkel, who joined the Dolphins in 2013, was credited with the $550 million renovation of Hard Rock Stadium and securing major events like the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix and the Miami Open. The stadium also hosted Super Bowl LIV and other significant sporting events. Garfinkel will transition to vice chairman of the Dolphins and Hard Rock Stadium and managing partner of the Miami Grand Prix.
