The Hall of Fame Game featured a Cardinals 33-30 win over the Panthers. Carson Beck completed 15 of 19 passes for 188 yards and a touchdown, calling his debut a “good first steppingstone.” The game-winning play was a touchdown pass from Kedon Slovis to Bryson Green. The Panthers, missing Haynes King with a hamstring injury, signed Kyle Trask as their third quarterback. In Minnesota, the quarterback competition between Kyler Murray and J.J. McCarthy remains open, with Murray currently favored. The Browns are evaluating Deshaun Watson and Shedeur Sanders in their battle, focusing on pre-snap and post-snap techniques.
