Carlos Rodón will begin a minor league rehab assignment Saturday as he works back from left elbow inflammation. Blake Snell is expected to return from the injured list Tuesday against the Royals. The Rangers activated Jordan Montgomery from the 60-day IL and will use him out of the bullpen. The Twins placed ace Joe Ryan on the 15-day IL with a left glute strain. Red Sox first baseman Triston Casas underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left wrist.
