Microduck is a 25 cm tall, 800 g open-source biped robot from Pollen Robotics designed for reinforcement learning. It ships ready to learn with five pre-trained behaviors: walk, sit & stand, kick, grab, and roller skating. Users can train new policies in simulation using MuJoCo, then deploy them directly to the robot via a 50 Hz onboard policy loop.

The robot features a camera, LiDAR, and two IMUs, and runs on an Apache-2.0 licensed software stack available on GitHub. Pre-orders are open at $399, with shipping before Christmas 2026. Four colourways are available.

Accessory packs include a charger pack ($39), dev pack ($119), and accessory pack ($39). The robot supports community sharing of policies via Hugging Face and Discord. Microduck enables users to teach, refine, and publish new tricks using sim-to-real transfer.
