Injury Report: September Swoons

The MLB injury bug has bitten hard, with several key players facing season-ending or significant procedures. Hunter Greene of the Reds will undergo season-ending UCL surgery after a second opinion confirmed a partially torn ligament, keeping him out at least through 2026. Matt Chapman of the Giants is having season-ending abdominal surgery on Tuesday, ending his year with seven home runs and 42 RBIs. Nathan Eovaldi landed on the 15-day IL for the Rangers due to elbow inflammation.
