The Texas Rangers called up infielder Jonah Bride from Triple‑A Round Rock and inserted him into the starting lineup at third base for Sunday's game against Baltimore. The 30‑year‑old right‑hander posted a .282 average with 10 home runs and 60 RBIs in 97 games for Round Rock this season, his most recent MLB stint coming with Minnesota in June 2025.

To clear roster space, the Rangers optioned outfielder Alejandro Osuna back to Round Rock. Osuna hit .255 with one home run and 24 RBIs in 76 games with Texas. The moves reflect the club's effort to strengthen its infield depth while giving Osuna a chance to adjust to the Triple‑A level.

Both Bride and Osuna are expected to contribute immediately upon their respective assignments. Bride’s versatility at third base provides an option for manager Bruce Bochy, while Osuna’s speed and defensive work ethic could aid Round Rock’s outfield. The transactions were announced by the Rangers’ baseball operations department.
