The 2027 Range Rover Electric features motors that are 24 percent more efficient than the I-Pace, with 50 ms response times and 144 copper hairpins per motor. The drivetrain uses silicon-carbide inverters and packs an 118.5 kWh battery in a double-stacked cell design with nickel-manganese-cobalt chemistry. The vehicle achieves a 333-mile EPA range and supports 350 kW DC fast charging, adding 125 miles in 10 minutes.

The electric platform lowers the center of gravity by 3.4 inches compared to the V8, with a 56 percent stiffer chassis from the aluminum battery frame. Standard air suspension and twin-valve dampers enhance on- and off-road performance.

NVH improvements make the Range Rover Electric 7 decibels quieter than its V8 counterpart, though JLR added extra isolation and active noise cancellation using Warwick Audio's thin membrane speakers in the headrests to manage HV cable noise.
