Linebacker Abdul Carter took to X Saturday to shut down rumors that quarterback Jaxson Dart’s political activity was tearing the Giants apart. After Dart introduced President Donald Trump at a Rockland Community College rally for Rep. Mike Lawler, Carter posted a terse “thought this s--- was AI, what we doing man,” then clarified the two are “good” and warned against narratives.

Teammates rallied behind the pair. Wide receiver Darius Slayton dismissed a fabricated claim that Dart made a racist remark, while offensive lineman Jermaine Eluemunor told a Boston reporter the locker room remains “fine” and urged focus on New England. The Giants have just completed three voluntary organized team activities and are in Phase Three of their offseason schedule.

Both arrived as first‑round selections in 2025—Carter third overall from Penn State, Dart 25th overall from Ole Miss. Carter logged 43 tackles and four sacks as a rookie; Dart posted a 4‑8 record, 15 passing touchdowns, five interceptions and nine rushing scores, the second‑most for a rookie quarterback. Their united front signals stability as the team eyes a competitive 2026 campaign.
