Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers proposed to his high school sweetheart Cameron Newell in Napa, the city where they first met. Newell announced the engagement Thursday via a joint social media post, writing, "The best surprise of my life... Can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you." Bowers, 23, got down on one knee as Newell responded with an overjoyed "Yes!"

The couple has dated since 2020, attending prom together before maintaining a long-distance relationship during college — Bowers at Georgia and Newell at the University of Tennessee. Friends and teammates flooded the comments with congratulations, including running back Ashton Jeanty, Hannah Cavinder, and Anne Michael Maye, wife of Patriots quarterback Drake Maye.

Newell reflected Saturday: "Getting engaged in Napa, where we first met, couldn't have felt more right." Bowers, a 2024 first-round draft pick, enters his third NFL season. In 2025, he recorded 64 receptions for 680 yards and seven touchdowns.
