Real Madrid are set to sign 19‑year‑old Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig in a deal that could reach €135m, including add‑ons. The fixed fee would be €115‑120m.

The transfer would eclipse previous Madrid signings such as Jude Bellingham and Eden Hazard, marking a new record for the club. Diomande impressed in the Bundesliga with 12 goals and 8 assists, and starred for Ivory Coast at the World Cup, creating 11 chances in four matches.

The move followed Diomande’s meteoric rise from DME Academy in Daytona Beach to Leganés and then Leipzig, and comes after Paris Saint‑Germain had been linked with him. Madrid also reportedly remain interested in Manchester City midfielder Rodri, who has a year left on his contract.

With new coach José Mourinho, Madrid’s summer signing spree continues as they add Cucurella, Konaté, Bernardo Silva and Denzel Dumfries to build a squad capable of competing at the hauling top.
