England flanker Henry Pollock has ended his contract stand-off by signing an extension with Northampton until the summer of 2028. The 21-year-old said it was "a very easy decision" to remain with the defending Premiership champions after spending his entire career at the club.

Pollock's rise has been rapid, earning England honours and a British and Irish Lions call-up within months of his Test debut. His agent Eddie Hearn previously described him as a "seven-figure player," though his new deal is believed to be significantly below that valuation. His salary is well above the Premiership average of £191,000 but trails Bath's Finn Russell, who earns around £1m annually.

Northampton director of rugby Phil Dowson praised Pollock's character and potential, with the club targeting a successful title defence. Pollock said the squad has the depth and belief to write "a new story" following their recent trophy successes.
