Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart addressed teammates Wednesday in a team meeting about his introduction of President Donald Trump at a political event last week, sources told ESPN. The discussion took place as the club returned from the holiday weekend for organized team activities at its East Rutherford facility, with veteran leaders including Brian Burns, Kayvon Thibodeaux and Jameis Winston also contributing to the session.

Sources said players emphasized keeping disagreements internal rather than airing them publicly. A post from linebacker Abdul Carter prompted the discussion, as he reacted to video of Dart introducing Trump at a Rockland Community College event by writing, "Thought this s--- was AI, what we doing man." Carter later followed up on X and said he and Dart had spoken and their relationship was solid.

Several players, including Jermaine Eluemunor, downplayed friction and insisted the locker room was fine. Dart, a first-round pick, took over as the starter in Week 4 and threw for 15 touchdowns with five interceptions. He also recorded nine rushing scores, the second-most for a rookie quarterback in the modern era, reinforcing why the franchise is building its offense around him under coach John Harbaugh.
