The Pro Football Hall of Fame welcomed its Class of 2026 on Saturday, with Drew Brees, Larry Fitzgerald and Luke Kuechly among the inductees. Kicker Adam Vinatieri also entered the hall and delivered a memorable speech, joking about Bill Belichick, Peyton Manning and Tom Brady. New inductee Roger Craig shared a sobering personal update, revealing a vascular dementia diagnosis during his taped acceptance speech. Meanwhile, a separate feature examined Larry Fitzgerald’s college career at Pitt, which could have won him a Heisman. Training Camp Injuries & Status

Several teams dealt with injury scares over the weekend. Discipline, Suspensions & Roster Moves

The Raiders disciplined two stars after a practice scuffle. Kirk Cousins and Maxx Crosby were held out of practice Saturday for disciplinary reasons stemming from Friday’s fight. In Indianapolis, the NFL announced that cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt will serve a one-game suspension without pay in the season opener for a conduct policy violation. The Saints added veteran depth, signing linebacker Deion Jones to a one-year deal, making the fourth NFC South team of his career. And Seahawks linebacker DeMarcus Lawrence confirmed he nearly retired after finally winning a Super Bowl but decided to return for the “hard part” of a title defense.

Contract Extensions

Two big offensive line deals were finalized. The Titans signed guard Peter Skoronski to a four-year, $100 million extension, making him the highest-paid guard in the NFL. The Bills locked up right guard O'Cyrus Torrence with a four-year, $78.4 million extension that includes $46 million guaranteed. In Dallas, the Cowboys are considering whether Quinnen Williams can bring more to their defense and what an extension might look like.

Quarterback Battles & Offensive Schemes

The Vikings are closing in on a decision in their quarterback competition. Kyler Murray is favored over J.J. McCarthy to lead Minnesota’s offense, according to the latest buzz. In Philadelphia, new offensive coordinator Sean Mannion said the Eagles will continue to lean into the tush push in their new scheme. Meanwhile, Buccaneers running back Bucky Irving sent a message to doubters entering Year, saying “I’ve been doubted my whole life.”
