For the second time since 2020, the World Series will conclude in October. MLB announced Monday the postseason schedule, with the Fall Classic set to begin on Oct. 23 and a potential Game 7 on Oct. 31.

Roster Moves and Retirements

Two-time All-Star and former batting champion Tim Anderson announced his retirement after 10 major league seasons. The Red Sox are set to activate newly acquired catcher Adley Rutschman on Tuesday. The Diamondbacks added reinforcements, bringing back Michael Soroka from the IL and signing Zack Littell to a one-year contract.
