MLB trade deadline season has arrived with contenders adding veterans and rebuilding clubs landing young players before 6 p.m. ET on Aug. 1. While MLB veterans are easy to evaluate, minor leaguers moving in deals are harder to assess. Here's our ranking of every notable prospect dealt this trade season, sorted by tiers using Future Value grades.

40+ FV tier: 1. Jhomnardo Reyes, RF, Baltimore Orioles (acquired from Twins in Dean Kremer trade). The 18-year-old lefty-hitting right fielder crushed the complex league and reached Low-A. A power-over-hit type with risk due to competition level and hitability questions.

35+ FV tier: 2. Angel Arredondo, SS, Los Angeles Angels (from Rangers in Logan O'Hoppe/Chase Silseth deal). A potential utility infielder with hit tool and zone control but lacking starting-level raw tools. 3. Bruin Agbayani, SS, New York Mets (from Twins in A.J. Minter deal). Son of former Met Benny Agbayani; can hit but limited power, only 15 pro games due to injury. 4. Billy Amick, 3B, New York Mets (same deal). 23-year-old in Double-A with plus raw power but bat-to-ball questions.

35 FV tier: 5. Zane Barnhart, RHP, Detroit Tigers (from Orioles in Jake Rogers deal). 5-foot-10 reliever with lively stuff, high spin rates, fringy command. Throws 94-96 mph four-seamer and sweeper 93% of time. 6. Felix Doroteo, RHP, Pittsburgh Pirates (from White Sox in Jose Urquidy deal). 6-foot-6, 21-year-old sitting 94-96 mph, touching 99 mph; organizational depth with fringy secondary stuff.
