The Phillies celebrated franchise legend Chase Utley with a Wall of Fame induction Friday night. On the field, left-hander Cristopher Sanchez became the first 15-game winner in the majors this season, leading Philadelphia to a 7-3 victory over the Nationals.

Dodgers’ Slide Continues

The Dodgers lost their season-high seventh straight game in stunning fashion, falling 4-3 to the Diamondbacks on a two-run walk-off homer by rookie Ryan Waldschmidt. Los Angeles will get a boost Tuesday when Blake Snell returns from the injured list to face the Royals.

Yankees & Mets Updates

Yankees left-hander Carlos Rodón will begin a minor league rehab assignment Saturday as he works back from elbow inflammation. The Mets saw rookie outfielder Carson Benge leave Friday's 6-4 win over Pittsburgh with left wrist soreness, though X-rays were clear. New York also claimed infielder Gabriel Arias off waivers from Cleveland.

Boston extended its winning streak to nine games as Payton Tolle struck out a career-high 14 over six innings in a rout of the Athletics. The streak began with a dramatic 12-11, 13-inning comeback win over the White Sox, capped by Caleb Durbin’s walk-off single.

Twins Highlights and Injury

Shortstop Kaelen Culpepper homered in his MLB debut, powering the Twins to a comeback victory. However, Minnesota placed ace Joe Ryan on the 15-day IL with a left glute strain.
