Arsenal are reportedly exploring a move for Real Madrid forward Vinícius Júnior, with the situation described as tentative. The Gunners have also reportedly agreed personal terms with an unnamed player and are looking at a £70 million offer for Newcastle's Bruno Guimaraes. Manchester United are also said to be interested in Real Madrid midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni, with Real Madrid reportedly open to selling him. Chelsea are in talks to sign set-piece coach Austin Mac Phee from Aston Villa and have agreed a deal for Crystal Palace defender Maxence Lacroix. Meanwhile, Barcelona have signed American goalkeeper Tyler McCamey for their women's team and German forward Karim Adeyemi from Borussia Dortmund.

In other transfer news, Celtic have agreed a club-record fee of £11 million plus add-ons for striker Kasper Hogh from Bodo/Glimt, while Daizen Maeda has completed a £10 million move to Ipswich Town. Ipswich have also signed Japan forward Daizen Maeda from Celtic on a contract until summer 2029. Newcastle United have completed the signing of midfielder Aladji Bamba from Monaco. George Russell has been forced to change his power unit ahead of the Hungarian Grand Prix after a crack on his engine caused a water leak in qualifying. Lewis Hamilton has been relegated from second to fifth on the Hungarian Grand Prix grid after a penalty for blocking McLaren's Oscar Piastri at the end of qualifying. Formula 1 bosses are in talks with organisers of the Malaysian Grand Prix to see the Sepang race make a surprise return to the calendar this year as a stand-in event. Fernando Alonso said the performance of his Aston Martin was "much better" as the team debuted a huge upgrade package during Hungarian Grand Prix practice on Friday.
