Beau Greaves and Fallon Sherrock aim to reclaim the Betfred Women's World Matchplay title on Sunday at Blackpool's Winter Gardens, live on Sky Sports Action from 1pm. The top eight PDC Women's Series players compete for a £15,000 first prize from a £40,000 pot.

Greaves, a two-time champion (2023, 2024), enters as favourite after becoming the first woman to win a PDC ranking title at Players Championship 11 in April. She faces Finland's Kirsi Viinikainen in the quarter-finals. "I'm really excited to be back," Greaves said, noting the tournament's importance for the women's game.

Sherrock, the 2022 winner who missed 11 match darts in last year's final-leg loss to defending champion Lisa Ashton, opens against Deta Hedman. "I'm really hungry to win it," Sherrock stated. Ashton, seeking back-to-back titles, begins her defence against Rhian O'Sullivan in her hometown event.

Quarter-finals (best of nine legs) start at 1pm, followed by semi-finals and an 11-leg final. Ashton called last year's hometown victory "absolutely brilliant" and "one of my biggest achievements."
