Acer rolls out the Predator Atlas 8, positioning it as one of the first handheld PCs to ship with Intel’s latest Arc G3 line. The device slots an 8‑inch 1920×1200 IPS panel that peaks at 500 nits and runs a variable 120 Hz refresh. Under the hood, users can choose between standard Arc G3 or the higher‑tier G3 Extreme silicon, both supporting up to Arc B390 graphics and Intel’s XESS 3 upscaling.

Beyond the processor, Acer equips the Atlas 8 with 1 TB of storage, up to 24 GB of shared memory, and an 80 WHr battery designed for marathon sessions. The chassis retains a familiar form factor but adds Hall‑Effect analog triggers, a Gorilla Glass Victus front, dual Thunderbolt 4 ports, a microSD slot, and Wi‑Fi 7 connectivity.

Acer also upgrades cooling with an AeroBlade fan promising 10 % better airflow, pairs dual two‑watt speakers with DTS:X Ultra, and provides a trigger‑feedback switch for shallow shooter pulls or deeper analog control in sims. The handheld runs full Windows 11 and includes a dedicated Xbox Game Bar button. Shipping in October, the Atlas 8 aims to challenge ASUS and Lenovo’s dominance in the handheld market.
