Intel released the Arc G3 CPU family for handheld gaming PCs, targeting thin‑and‑light chassis and battery efficiency. Both models share a 14‑core layout (2 P‑Cores, 8 E‑Cores, 4 LP E‑Cores). The Arc G3 Extreme reaches 4.7 GHz turbo, while the standard version caps at 4.6 GHz; base clocks sit at 1.9 GHz for P‑Cores and 1.5 GHz for E‑Cores. Power limits are 25 W base, 80 W turbo, and a 15 W minimum.

The series swaps the top‑tier B390 iGPU for a B370 unit with ten Xe cores at 2.2 GHz, delivering 90 TOPs of INT8 versus 113 TOPs on the Extreme. Intel claims the cut‑back chip matches or exceeds the Radeon 890M that dominates current handhelds. Both CPUs support up to 12 PCIe lanes, Thunderbolt 4, Wi‑Fi 7 R2 and XeSS 3, and improve frame rates on demanding titles.

OEMs can order the chips starting June 2026, with the first integration slated for the Acer Predator Atlas 8 handheld launching October 2026. By pairing a 14‑core CPU with an Xe‑based iGPU tuned for Windows Xbox mode, Intel hopes to give handheld makers a native‑Intel alternative to AMD’s dominant graphics solution for handheld gaming.
